In-Person and Remote Training Options

  • In-Person Strength Training

One-on-one strength sessions with Ryan at his private gym in Amherst. Workouts are grounded in the fundamentals, tailored to your goals and abilities, and progressed safely over time. You can even play whatever music you want (as long as it isn’t country).

    $70/60-minute session

$40/person for two or more people (three people maximum)

  • Hybrid Training

Hybrid coaching combines both in-person and remote coaching. With this option, you are able to complete some of your workouts (usually 1-2 a month) in the gym under the supervision of a personal trainer, while the rest are performed on your own at a home or commercial gym.

Hybrid training is a great option for people who still want the support and accountability of a coach, but may not be able to commit to weekly personal training sessions due to their schedule or for financial reasons. People will sometimes switch to this option once they get a few weeks of in-person personal training sessions under their belt and feel more comfortable and confident doing strength training on their own.

  • Remote Strength and Endurance Coaching

Remote Strength and Endurance Coaching is for individuals who want to complete 100% their strength and endurance workouts on their own, while still having the support and accountability of coach to help direct their training.

Remote coaching is completely tailored to the needs of the individual. For example, some people I work with want a 4-12 week block of strength workouts to execute on their own with minimal interaction with a coach after they get the plan. Others need more frequent coach-athlete communication and support, with strength and endurance workouts written weekly, reviewed daily, and adjusted as needed to work around work or family obligations.

The price for remote coaching is dependent on the level of support and communication that the individual requires, but typically falls between $120-$250 a month. Please contact me so we can discuss your goals and determine what makes the most sense for your situation.

  • Free 30-Minute Consultation

Consultations are held at the gym (or possibly a local coffee shop!). This is your chance to have your questions answered and talk with someone about your goals and training.

This is the first step in working with Point to Point, but there is absolutely no obligation to sign up for coaching or strength training. If you decide you don’t like me, or it doesn’t seem like we’d be a good fit, then no worries. I’ll do my best to help you find someone else in the area.
